Throw Back Lures/Techniques

I have been fishing LOTW/Whitefish Bay out of the Sanctuary Resort for the past 5 years. I have raised several fish but have had a problem getting strikes for fish that are just "curious". Last year I raised several good fish while using a Firetiger Manta, but when I tried a throw back lure I only hooked up one time when I used a surface bait. I know that there is no magic lure/technique, but I would appreciate any suggestions that you guys might have !!!! Thanks,

Just an idea,try throwing the top water first,then if you see one throw the Manta. Good Luck. Muskee Mike

[Fish On]

I think the Manta is the perfect bait for getting a lot of follows. I have had about a dozen this year and only once did a fish strike. I pulled up on the rod and it triggered the fish. No throwback has worked but I did get a second follow on a Rad Dog spinnerbait.
