what are some of the methods for lighting your tip-ups at night? i used a candle with a clear pop bottle over it once, but was wondering if there was a more efficient way of doing it like those glow sticks??
just wandering if you guys have any cheap routes.

I just use some reflective tape and a good flashlight. Thats the simplest way I have found.

They make small bells specially for clamping on tip up flags. If you are in the general vicinity of your tip ups you can hear the bells rattle when a tip up flag is released.

They're pretty cheap and worth what you pay for them. The little red lights that take the same battery as the Blue Fox lighted slip bobbers. They've got a mercury switch in them so when the flag goes up the switch is tripped and they light.

Better to have and not need than to need and not have!

Mattman - The mercury switch light thing sounds neat. Never heard of it such a device. Could you point me in the right direction to find them?

Thanks, jc
