How do you erase the track log? I'd like to start fresh each time I go out.

Hit the menu key, then scoll down through.... can't remember the name, hit "enter" and there will be a softkey that you arrow down to that will allow you to reset the log.
You can go to garmin.com and download a pdf of your owner's manual for more precise instructions.
