Read in Essox to use Tru-Oil on wooden baits to make them hard. Been looking in MN, but can't locate it. Anyone know where one can buy Tru-Oil?

I havent tried it on lures myself but tru oil is available at most gun shops in the blueing and refinishing section. Its made by Birchwood Casey, around Chicago its found at Sports Authority stores. Good hunting

Fish,
Try GanderMountain in the firearms section or any other sporting goods store that carries fire arms. You could also try thier web site for local retailers. I think the may even have catalog sales direct from the company.

I've used it on my wood lures and it seems to do a decent job. If the lure has working parts like a globe or creeper, make sure you don't gum up the parts with the tru-oil.

I found it at Wal-Mart in the hunting section.
