Hey Guys,
I was wondering if any of you may have some informaion about this tournament held in Vilas County. My dad and I might go up there if it is a well run tournament. Is it all c and r? Do they have officials on the water to verify your fish so you don't have to transport them? I'm just curious how the tournament si run and whether it would be worth the trip? Any info would be musch appreciated.
Thank you,
Jesse Beam

My husband and I have fished the Alliance for many years. We feel that this is a well run tournament. The tournament is total release. Muskies need to be verified by another angler in the tournament and should be done as soon as possible. The person who catches the fish must find another boat to verify his/her catch. A verification slip (provided when you register)is filled out by you and signed by the witness. It is a good time for musky fishing camaradarie. Other info. can be found by calling 1-800-359-6315.

Thank you guys very much for the info. It is nice that you would go out of your way to mark maps for us. The musky community is by far the best and most social group I have ever known. Once again just wanted to say thanks and we will be there. Thursday night is when you have to register to get in so hopefully we will see you there. We will be in the blue Skeeter 1775 with the 80 Yamamha on the back.
Hope we all can catch a big one.

Good Luck,
Jesse Beam

Hi Magnumesox!

I think I recognize the name. I was camped across the road from you in Vilas County the first week of July. Good Luck in the tourney and I will probably bump into you again some day.......jim
