Hi,

I just posted this on 101 as well. Hope folks may help me by getting the word around. I'm in a mass panic stage here after getting home very late last night from filming ... trying to get business caught up and ready for my annual trip to canada with dad ... he's in charge of finding the hot lake trout jigs.

Gillespie and I got a good show. We were saved having a good day on Leech yesterday. John went beserk with a 49 he got (show will air weekend of 17th). Anyway, yesterday was the good news, prior to this, everything was a disaster. You've all had "day/s" like that, right?

I couldn't bore you with all - no time. But I did have my one of a kind Lakewood tackle box stolen from my boat on the SE end of Mille Lacs. I have some old favorites in there ... it really saddens me.

ANyway, I'd really appreciate a report if anyone hears anything. It was a bright blue Lakewood Monster Muskie box. It has a big Esox Angler magazine logo on it. WHile we've had some special boxes with logos made for EA - there has never been a blue one made. So, if anyone comes across this, the owners are theives. Because it is the only one on the planet like it, I thought maybe I'd get lucky.

I'd certainly be generous and appreciative to anyone who could help.

I'm scrambling here. WIll be out all next week, but call Esox Angler and let them know if find anything (877) 356-esox.

Thanks,

Pete

Pete, that is a bummer. I hope you find the cheap pricks that stole that box. I fish Mille Lacs a bit. I'll keep my eyes open for that box wherever I fish. Good luck and have fun in Canada. Cast-n-blast

Hi,

Thanks Cast-n-blast! If the blue box or a bunch of odd topwaters, Jakes and Burts start showing for sale, let me know.

Catch a big one.

Pete,

Sorry to hear about that. If it were me, I would be checking e-bay on a regular basis.

EBay and Pawn Shops. We had all of our walleye tackle stolen a few years ago on Walleye opener. $1400 worth of stuff. That sucked!
Hope something turns up for you Pete!
I will keep my eyes peeled.

Were there any "secrets" in there? :-)

I'm on Mille Lacs every weekend, I'll keep my eyes open.

Hi,

A final note to all before I head north ... to the beautiful land where there are no computers and cell phones don't work (don't take personally, just nice to get away).

I do appreciate your comments and offers to help. Certainly not the end of the world ... but yes, there are a few "secret baits" (even they don't "always' work though) in there ...love to see a few back.

Any help is appreciated. What I'd really like, is to talk to the folks that stole it in the first place ... see what their favorite hobby/business is ... ask 'em how they'd like to have their favorite tools ripped off.

Gotta go finish getting ready.

Best of luck to all. Be nice to 'em when you let 'em go!

Pete

I would post on the Musky Hunter web site as that would possibly reach a larger audience. Sorry for your loss and I'm sure you learned your leason.
