Loki Fishing Nets

I received a Loki landing net for Christmas. I remember a week or so ago reading a discussion on Loki versus another brand of net. If I remember correctly, I am receiving a good net. Am I right? Or is there a better brand out there?

I want to make sure this net is approved by WC members!! :) Thanks for your help!

Great nets!!!!!!!! Have had two ( Walleye and Crappie ) One for six years and the other for two. Once freinds come fishing with me and use the net, they then own one. The older of the two ( walleye ) is about do for a bag replacment. I use them about 100 days a summer.

They are expensive but worth it! I have also heard good things about the Beckman's, but have no peresonal experiance. (sp?)

I perfer the fiberglass handles. I believe the aluminum is the standard handle

i have had a loki for about 7 years....
best net i have been able to find in manitoba and all my friends love it also.... great for netting fish caught on cranks

Anybody out there have a web address or phone # for Loki Nets or their distributors? I need a replacement net and have been unable to connect anywhere, most recent disttributor that I know of was in Knoxville, Tenn and their phone # is disconnected

Last number I have is 423-687-7341, dont know if it is still good, I like my Loki nets but last time I needed one couldnt find one on anyones shelf, had to mail order it. Good Luck...Bob

Thanks for the replies! I pointed out this net to my wife a couple months ago as a gift idea, not remembering the brand name at the time. I was pretty sure it was a pretty good net.

Thats the phone number thats been disconnected with no forwarding number, but thanks I'll find it somehow, hate to throw the net

Cabela's and Meleens sell this net. Try calling them.
