In case none of you are aware, Thorne Bro's. was broke into a week or so ago, it was smash and run job.

Someone did a see guy trying to sell the stuff at a gas station in the vicinity of Ham Lake a week ago but the guy bolted before the Lic. plate was taken.

As you may know, muskie fishing is expensive enough as it is and the cost will probally go up after the new alarm and cameras are installed.

The following is a very brief list of some of the high end Items that were taken. If you would see this guy(s) trying to sell this stuff, please get a License plate number and contact Thorne Bro's. A.S.A.P. 763-572-3782

Numerous Calcutta's 400 TE 401 TE 300 TE
Lots of Loomis and St. Croix rods along with a number of custom Thorne Bro's. rods.

Keep your eye's peeled and help catch this bum.

Make sure you keep an eye on ebay, as well as the area pawn shops! Good luck in catching these dirtball thieves, it is such a shame that people have no respect or care for others properties and instead of working they look for the easy way of getting rich quick by ripping off those who have been fortunate to make something of themselves and/or thier business.

Hate to say this, but from what was taken it appears the culprit(s) know quite a bit about musky fishing and top of the line equipment.
Hope they are "caught with the goods."

Top of the line is about all Thorne Bro's do carry, so in a smash, snatch, and grab break-in the culprit has a high chance to get "good stuff" no matter what.

I would bet on the culprit being a crack/meth head, not a active sportsman.

Hope you're right...would hate to think a musky fisherman would stoop to such levels. Always figured we had a bit higher ideals than that. I know all the ones I know personally certainly do.

Maybe a guy named Pete was trying to refill his tackle box??
