Just got back from there on Sunday. Spent the summer on Sabaskong Bay. When my son & I left, the muskies were all on the rocks, points and reefs. Last week on one underwater reef in Stoney we raised 6 muskies and caught one. Saw muskies on nearly every point or reef. Fished some walls, including the one right at Split Rock Lodge, and caught a muskie. Fishing was starting to look up last week. We caught 10 muskies, but no big ones. We caught some on Crow Lake, also. Saw a few hogs, but mostly followers. The water is finally clearing and the more stable weather last week has helped fishing. Big Muskies for the season: 52", 2-48", 47", 46" and too many 40+" to count. Not too shabby for an off year weather-wise. My son taught me a few things this year with the big fish. Good Luck!
