Has anyone used either one of these. I have a new boat on order and plan on trying something different then Eagle. I am considering these two locators. I believe the Pinpoint would be a 7520 or 7820.
This is for the console locator. The front trolling motor locator I would use either brand except it would be the Z 160 or the lesser cost model of pinpoint.

I have the Zercom LPG 2000 and I love it!! When it marks fish on the screen, you can count on ther being fish. It has helped me win my share of tournaments in the past 2 years. I would mark fish in places and stay on them, eventually they would turn on, it made all the difference in the world.

If you think you might want to view multiple transducers from multiple graphs, connect it to a trolling motor that tracks depth, shore, and creek channel, get the Pinpoint.

I've used the Pinpoint for two years now. Very satisfied, and like it was mentioned you buy the sonar, and later you can build on it.
