So the65 pound O'brian fish has been removed from some american federations record books because of a technacality in regards to the scale used.Seems like political sour grapes from the usual suspects to me.

My thoughts...who cares,the federation(whatever the ##### their initials are)was respected by no one outside of Wissconsin anyhow because the acknowledged the spray fish.They've simply made bigger fools of themselves with this nonesense.

Now,I hope this stays civil.But I must say that SOME of you folks south of the border might be surprised at how little we up here care about the opinion of some American recording keeping bodies.Claim all the records you want,that's fine.Less of a crowd in my front"yard".

Its pretty sad isn't it? These people need to ge a life instead of wasting so much time disproving someones records.

Being from Wisconsin, I also find it ridiculous they removed O'briens fish from the books. 13 years have passed and supposedly the scale was 4 ounces off, if it matters that much give it the lesser weight. Personally I don't care where a new record would come from, actually I am hoping somewheres outside WI. Imagine the fishing pressure bought down on the world record producing water.
