As the season is beginning to wind down, I was just wondering what everyone thinks is the best month to catch both numbers of muskies and size of muskies in Canada? I feel July is a good month for numbers, but September is the time for the big ones!!

I live in Ontario, and RIGHT NOW is the time to catch the biggies. I would say the best time to fish for that World Record fish is between now and the end of November, however, as we all know there are no guarantees in the life of a Muskie angler. Basically, my rule of thumb is the colder and nastier the weather, the better your chances are for boating that hog of a lifetime. If you do come up, bring your longjohns because last night it got down to 24F. BRRRRR.....
