Holy cripes. Someone just showed me the latest issue of Fishing Facts magazine, there is 2 articles, 1 from Jim Saric and another from some other muskie guy. In the middle of the articles there is a "sidebar" article showing how to filet out Y-bones from large pike.
The morons from Fishing Facts obviously do not get it.

That is sad Tom. I wonder if Jim knew that was going to be put in there? I doubt he will address this though. He doesn't even post on his own board.

Gotta come to Jim's defense here.... I have seen him post on the MHM board many times. He rarely posts or responds to controversy, but does respond to fishing questions and some of that stuff.
He is an MI member, and I would hope that he (and lots o other MI members) drill the clowns at Fishing Facts magazine.
I would not expect him to quit writing for them, though, he does write for a living and he does have to put food on the table.
I did not mention Jim's name in the original post to target him or put him out there for others to rip on, the editors of FF are the one's that need a good rip.

I should have probably been more clear on both points. I was trying to say that I thought Jim didn't know it was stuck in there. On the point of him not posting on musky hunter, I think he should find another moderator if he isn't willing to discuss the tougher issues.

Fishing facts was bought by midwest outdoors and it's basically that in a glossy magazine. Same writers and content. If you want to read Jim Saric articles, he owns a pretty good magazine himself.
