Not often enough. I try and get out a couple times a month though.

I agree with Mike. Not enough. It depends on the time of year. In Wisconsin the season opens the last Saturday in May and closes on November 30. Generally I get out 2 or 3 times a month May through July. August through November I try to get out at least once a week. The only reason I do it this way is because that's what my schedule allows.

i agree with fred. WHENEVER I FEEL LIKE IT. i think the "get to" part is for married guys.

If I lived on the lake ,I'd go when ever I felt like it also. Just think of all those crappies hopping in the boat.

Gene pool? Is that anything like Chucks hot tub? I think they both share commin traits and lead to the same results.

isnt it always time to spawn? i dont understand why fish wait until a certain temp to spawn. i could never wait that long.

Fishgraf , your just like a N.J. muskie , you keep spawning over and over again to no avail. At least I did it right 2 times. It's your turn to do it right, and fill your nest with many fry.

I only made it out on the water a total of 20 hours this year. Can't let thay happen agan. It sucks to have to work for a living!

I agree....never enough. Just thankful that I live on the shores of Lake Michigan and get to chase the trout and salmon between trips up north to Musky Country. Did all my musky hunting in Eagle River this year. Had nine days in early June, a night trip in July and 9 more days at the end of September. Not as good as those fortunate enough to live in the northwoods, but not all that bad and certainly did enjoy my time on musky waters. Always feel like I'm in my element when I'm stalking Ol' Snaggletooth.
