DO THE CAMERA FISH FINDERS REALLY WORK? WOULD THEY WORK IN A LAKE LIKE MILLE LACS OR A RIVER LIKE THE MISSISSIPPI?

i would assume you mean 'underwater' camera, not namely, a fishfinder.
the underwater cameras, such as the aqua view i dearly love, works great at mille lacs. water clarity dictates how far or well you see.
the river might be too murky for the cameras. all my friends and i are totally spoiled by the aqua view while fishing perch on mille lacs.

The cameras are great toys!! I've used one on Mille Lacs several times and kind of miss it when I don't have one along. As far as the river goes, it's pretty murky year round. Usually in Feb, lowest flow rates, it will clean up as good as it's gonna. You can use them, but just won't get the clarity you would on a lake like the big pond.
