Has anyone used these new topwaters this season? Are they a lure to have, or just another prop bait?

Esox,

I have used them and can tell you they are a lure to have. They have a very unique "clacking" sound. They also provide a larger silhouette than a lot of other baits and cast a mile.

I saw them in Pastika's in Hayward this past summer, some good fish were caught on them. Great bait! Didn't get bit myself, too many honey-do's and not enough time on the water.
I think they still have some.

I like the Pacemakers. Like Jim said, it provides a different type of clacking that draws them up. Plus a very durable lure with good hardware.
