Hi,
I would send my husband to Camp Walleye this summer, does he need to bring his own boat?

Hi Patti,

In regards to your question, Does he need his boat to go to camp?
NO he doesn't but he is encouraged to bring his boat to camp to use during the 3 days of fishing. If he has questions in the way it is rig, runs or handles on certain bodies of water, he will get the answers at camp.

If a participant does not have a boat available, the best camps to send the angler to is either Rainy Lake-June 6-9- based at Thunderbird Lodge, International Falls,MN or Lake of the Woods-July 25-28, based at Wiley Point Resort, Ontario, CAN. Both resorts have boats available for rent on a daily basis and will need to be paid for by the camp participant.

Please email me, sonja@walleyecentral.com if you have more questions.
