Boones In Buffalo, MN

Anyone heard if Boones baitshop in Buffalo is still open? I tried calling to get an ice report but the phone company says the number is no longer in service. Maybe new owner/new name? Any help appreciated. Or if anyone has info on ice conditions in that area-thanks!

Boones went under recently. Try H&H in Maple Lake:

I drove by Buffalo about a week ago and it was ice covered but nobody was on the lake that I could see. I did hear some good walleye reports coming from Koronis Lake near Paynesville, which is probably 30-40 minutes west of Buffalo.

Yes, Boones is out of business. There are a couple other places in town to get bait; one being the Conoco station, the other being right down town (don't know the name).

Was out fishing on Buffalo twice this week so far. There are 5+ inches of good ice.
