Zercom LC40 ?'s

i was wondering if any of you guys own one of these that is around five years old. i am buying one for my friend and was wondering if you have had any problems.

A guy I work with has had one for about 4-5 years. He has not had any problems. He uses it year 'round.

The LC40 is a good unit have had one 4 years and really like it.
