I was watching the RCL on ESPN, I was wondering if the boats are supplied by the manufacture or they are their own I guess personel rigs, it appears that they are all rigged pretty much the same. If Garmin is the RCL sponser do they all use Garmin electronics vs the PWT where they I think use whomever their sponser is.

the answer to your question is no . the boats are the property of the fisherman. the Rcl tourny is Consisted up of Ranger, Lund and Crestliner. Mercury is a big sponsor also, so to get invited to fish one of these tournaments you must first own or have access to A Lund Crestliner or Ranger boats

Moreeyes,
On the final 2 days they fish from the boats given to them buy the RCL. All 12 of the boats are rigged with the same stuff .If they fish out of Lunds they are given a Lund to use in the final 2 days, same if they use Ranger or Crestliners. Those are the boats that you can get for a great deal after the tourney.

All of the Boats and boat equipment used in days three and four of the championship is supplied by the RCL sponsers. The fishermen are not allowed to display any of their own sponsers logo's unless they are RCL sponsers. As they say the golden rule. The one with the gold makes the rules.

The RCL that was on ESPN recently was focused almost entirely on days 3 and 4. The guys who qualified for days 3 and 4 were fishing out of boats provided to them by the sponsors. Whatever boat they qualified out of was what kind they were given. The boats that they fished day 1 and 2 out of were their own and rigged however they wanted them too. Day 3 and 4 boats were rigged with Garmin since they were sponsors also. The only difference from one boat to the next might have been the motors (because both Yamaha and Merc were motor sponsors)and other than that I think they were the same. As of right now Merc is no longer a sponsor since Evinrude (Ficht only) has taken their place. To fish any RCL event as a pro you have to be a registered owner of one of these brands and original owner to qualify for bonus money in the championship. You can fish as an amatuer even if you don't own a boat. Its a great tournament and alot of fun.

The guys use there own boats on the first 2 days! Then the third day they used a boat provided by the ranger, lund, crestliner, Then the last day they use the provided boats agian. last year it was top 12 on the 3rd day then top 6 for the last year. They are all rigged the same with diferent motors.
