Off of Niagara reef early in the spring. If their is a better big fish factory at that time of year. I'd like to give it a whirl.

My favorite water depth for big fish is 5ft or less whether it's an inland lake, one of the Great Lakes or a river. There's always some type of structure such as a rocky shoreline or shallow bay with wood or some type of debree on the bottom. Wind plays a big part in whether the fish are in these areas and always casting crank baits.

Same here: in the middle of Lake Erie. Love to go there anyway, as you really feel like you leave the everyday @#&% behind when you can hardly see land anymore.

Rivers have away of "narrowing" down all those large open bodies of water, and stay "open" longer. Most years begin and end there here in Michigan. But I do perfer logs over concrete or at least my hooks do.

Love to fish spots that everyone else blows right over. (In Canada) Some of the best fishing I have found is in areas that others go over everyday heading for the other end of the lake. Fun to watch boats from each end of the lake meet each other going to the other end of the lake. Something about the grass being greener... Happy New Year you bunch of rum dums!
