Duluth Construction Detour

Is there still a detour on US 53 in Duluth ? Any informtion would be appreciated, will be going through next Friday morning to LOTW.

Haven't been through there since early July,
but detour was still being used then.

Unfortunately, there's still a detour on Hwy 53 in Duluth. It's the same detour that was in place last year, and the way it looks, it'll be there again next year. I went through there 2 weeks ago and it's still in place. I don't even remember the non-detour route anymore.

The detour is still in place but it is just as fast as the normal route so just follow it up mesaba ave and central entrance. The detour is different than last years, Mesaba was closed then.
