Is this a good lure?
I have talked to some people that say it is great. Can someone shed some lite on why? Also how is it worked?

I had one and sold it. They don't make them anymore so there are only used ones and old stock left. basically you twitch them and they turn and some blely roll with a little side to side. If you ask me there are better lures that will work in it's place. If i had another one, I would put a screw eye and inch and a half up on top the head of the bait and use it as a jerkbait. I think the fact it's not made anymore makes it more popular and goes for more than it's worth on ebay.

I fish mine with a long, slow, steady sweep of the rod. The B-Flat swings out to the side and rolls on its side. Only runs about a foot or so down. Can also be fished with shorter quicker taps, for a tighetr action.

I'm not saying ToddM is wrong, as with many wooden baits actions vary, and some are better than others. A really bad B-Flat isn't worth a light. A good one? I wouldn't part with any of mine!!

Can't tell you if they catch muskies, but they sure do catch pike. One of my all time favourite baits. Chrome foil finishes are real killers.

Another to consider which is similar and esier to get are ACE Flipper's got mine from the new Gander Moubtain store in Wausau. I think they come form the UK. Mine has a similar action short jerks or long sweeps snd it wild.
