Remember a few years back when Frabil introduced it?...it had the bent hoop, like a U, in the front? Does anyone remember the model number or what it was called?

If you're talking about the quick cradle, I think they discontued that model. Part of it's downfall is it's size. It takes up a lot of space in the boat and I think that's why it didn't sell as well as they wanted. At one time I think they discussed the possibility of re-introducing it to their line of nets (just what I heard), but don't know if it ever happened. I'm sure if you contacted Frabill they could let you know.

The model you are looking for is the Frabil Quick Cradle. I'm not sure of the availability of this item, but I am sure of it's quality. It is very big if you have a small boat, but it works great. It does an excellent job of protecting the fish compared to conventional nets. It is also much easier to work on unhooking your fish.
