Walker Bay (of Leech L.) just froze over on Monday morning. That is usually one of the last to go up this way. Ask around about the St. Louis River... Trolling can be good there, late in the year.DC

Mississippi River from Mpls down past Redwing. There is a good bite going on down by Redwing right NOW!!

The St. Louis is ice. The bay may have some open water, but the landings are pretty protected and I would guess are frozen.
