I am finally moving back to muskie country and have 10-12 Ambassadeurs that need various levels of tune-up. Does anyone have a recommendation on who to contact? The Appleton area would be closest, but any part of Wisconsin would be fine also. Thanks for your time.

Hey Mo,
I do all my own repair to my Ambassadeur reels so don't really have info on where to take them. Just thought I'd kick this back to the top for you. As someone out there has the info you are looking for.

try the Sportsman Reel Repair Shop in Mosinee,Wi (715)693-6634. You'll find their site in Muskie411.com. I believe they love Garica's most.

A-G reels are so commonplace that most competent repair shops can fix them. I've had mine done in 3 states over the years with no problems.
