Hey have any of you Guys and girls out there seen the newest lure on the Market? I went fishing a few weeks ago and this guy put on a lure called a Chubby. It had an awesome paint job and was a Medium large wooden jointed lure that can be casted or trolled...When trolled It must have a sound like ringing a dinner Bell after a full days work....The designer of this lure said the sound it makes banging together is unlike anything out there. My personal opinion is I think this lure will take the North by surprise, Seeing is Beleiving and I have seen a bunch of BIG FISH taken and released. Word is that in less than a two month period the Chubby Lures have accounted for over 15 50 inch fish and a few of them from 52 to 55 inches.A few guys in our club, Muskies Inc. chapter 22 have caught and released the fish of their dreams because of the chubby and B.K. Lure Co. out of New York State. for more information on these lures and where to get them visit MI22 website, I have witnessed these lures first hand so If you want a trophy throw a Chubby at em......I just placed an order myself today. The're Awesome

I am one of the guys from chapter 22 that have these lures and they are awesome they are a jointed crank bait that can be trolled or casted I also found out that they make a great topwater bait you just crank them slow over the weeds.
And no I don't have a stake in them just know the guy who makes them.
I wish this site had a way for me to put up pics so you guys could take a look.
Maybe you can see them on another site.

I got my 50incher for the year on a la Chubby . I know this sounds like a cheap ploy or some bad advertising gimick ,but it's just a matter of time before the world finds out about this killer bait.
I was kind of hoping it would remain a secret for a little while .
You can check them out on the New Jersey Muskies Inc Message board .

You'll have to register to veiw the pictures

How long are these baits? The hooks look like 20/0 trebles...I assume they are for trolling only, but what type of water are you guys fishing?,.. big open water/suspended fish in the great lakes? How deep do they run and how much do they costs? Interesting....
hey m u, the lures are 7" jointed with 6/0 mustad hooks. long line gets around 10 to 12 feet.i mostly short line speed troll them around 5 to 10 feet back along weed edges. we have caught fish casting, but they will ware you out(they pull hard).if you want more info shot me an email bkroll@pioneeris.net Brian

The facts stated are true, been up with a cetain guide who boated a unbeleivable amount of big fish this year. And yes La Chubby as he calls em have accounted for half of his big fish.Saw 3 fifties while I was with him in the boat.I see alot and read alot on the net but this guy taught me alot.Everything you ever read, better forget about it when your him.Would even go as far as to say,he may be the best or #### near close to it.

Absolutely true! The large BK Chubby swims like not other bait I've ever trolled before. Its range of action in the water is incredible, so much so in fact that you'll ask yourselves whether your rods have suddenly developed Parkinson's disease... And it works, too! Caught a 52" on a first trolling pass with it, and another one in the high 40s, too. I'll need a few for next summer! Tight lines! Pat

Musk Rat here. Those lures that guide used were slightly modified by me to catch even more. The chubby is a real sweet bait with a nice clack. I gunna need some more colors. Brian will paint them any color for you wich is a hot option.
