I am now running a Lowrance 350A on the transom and was going to get a new Lowrance with a 200khz transducer for my bow electric trolling motor. Is there enough difference, 192khz & 200khz, that I can run them at the same time without false readings? Thanks in advance, ERIC.

One factor that will really matter is what depth you will be running them. There are times if I am shallower than say 15ft, I can run two 192s without a problem.
Just another option to throw at you, did you know Lowrance will give you money for your old 350 if you purchase a new x15 or x16 unit. Check out their websight www.lowrance.com

My understanding is that you need a difference of 40.

You most likely won't get false readings such as bottom depth, but you may get alot of clutter. It will appear as weeds or loose structure coming up from the bottom that really aren't there. You'll know they are artifact echo's because they won't go away until your shallow enough to avoid the cones form interupting each other. Think of it as to old megaphones (like cheerleaders used to use) when they come in contact with each other your problems begin. I would check out the dual transducer for the transom, you'll never have a problem then....

The e-mail I got from Lowrance made this offer....to upgrade my LMS350A & 5-chnl GPS receiver to a later LMS350A w/ 12-chnl receiver was $300. The second part of the offer was to upgade completely to the X-15MT combo for $695. I passed on the deal and bought a spare LCG-1 off e-Bay.
