When to go?

Hello,
Normally I go to Southeast Ontario the first week of June to target pike in the upper Ottawa river and muskie in the local lakes. Unfortunately I cannot make this week and need to reschedule. I have open from mid July through September to choose a replacement week. Please give any input on WHAT WOULD BE YOUR CHOICE WEEK to go during this time period, taking into account Moon phase, solunar times, and possible past experience in the general area.
Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Hi Dave,

I would go the first or second week of August. Weather is still stable and I believe your close to the new moon. I for one really don't pay much attention to the moon phases. I think any time on the water is good time.

Thanks Dave,
I get out whenever I can also, but figure it can hurt to try schedule
for the best looking week possible. I have no idea what to expect in the area during this time as all my experience has been in early June.
