Go to their web site. There are directions and maps for each location. As I travel on business, I try to visit each one. I've been in five of them and UPS'ed packages home from each. If any of my potential customers figure out my after hours activities, they could demand extra discount on the contract and probably get it. This winter I need a customer near a Cabelas as they have some hardware BassPro does not. Such a deal.

PS: If you ever want to settle a score with a fishing buddy, call him on your cell during business hours from the floor of BassPro. Tell him what you are doing, what you see, and the gear you are checking out.... he will be mentally shot for the rest of the day.

Gurnee Bass Pro shop is about 45 minutes north of I-80 on I-94 at the Gurnee exit, just north of the 6 Flags park. It's on the West side of I-94, you can't miss it.

Thanks JigBite, Stopping on my way through to Fort Atkinson Wisconsin , Looks as if it is about an hour out of the way but I think it is worth it, Do you? What is my best bet leaving Bass Pro to get to Fort Atkinson, Wisconsin which is basically due north on I-90 out of Ill.South and east of Madison

If your traveling I-80W from the Indiana/Illinois border, exit onto
I-294 heading North. This is a toll road(it will cost you approx. $2.00 to get to the Gurnee exit). I-294 becomes I-94 further north. Same road, dont get confused. Exit IL. state route 132 heading west,
which is about 2 miles after you pass Great America amusement park.
The entrance to Gurnee Mills and Bass Pro Shops is less then a mile after you exit I-94 just past the Shell Gas Station. Look for the signs. Make a right turn into the entrance and continue north until you see Bass Pro Shops on your left. Plenty of parking. Have a good trip.

The fastest way to get to Ft. Atkinson would be on I-94 heading north to Milwaukee. Exit onto I-894, going around the city, and exit back onto I-94 going west. You should see Ft. Atkinson sighs just before I-94 links up with I-90. Abouot an hour drive.

ditto Leo's idea above. Both going to Bass pro and then to Ft Atkinson. I would only add that depending upon time of day your travelling from the east on I-80 and then north on 294, you should plan on something more like 1-1.5 hours up to Bass Pro. Good Luck Walleye Mike
