Asking for a quick piece of advice. Been going to Lac Seul for 5 years now. The published concentration of musky fishing seems to be in the Northeast corner of the lake. The lodge we stay at is in the Northwest and cannot navigate to the Narrows of the Northeast. Do you have any knowledge or know anyone else who I could contact to find out if I am just totally wasting my time fishing for skies on this part of the lake?

Thank you in advance for any information/help.

I have been going to Lac Seul for 10 years now and others in my group for 20+. We have never gone farther than the Vaughn Lake area and I have only caught one small muskie ever. As a group we've only caught 2. Please note that the group I go with is primarily looking for Walleye and the two types of fishing generally don't go together. I prefer to fish for Northern/Muskie but when in Rome's boat......... I know they are their but just not as abundant as in the Ear Falls area. I hope this helps.

It is my understanding that the NE portion of the lake offers a much better opportunity to catch a Muskie. I dont know why but a lot of the guys who post on WC fish Muskie in that part of the lake and claim to have success.
