Goin back to Kinzua in the fall, probably around 1st or 2nd week in october. Where should we concentrate our efforts? any help is greatly appreciated. we went opening weekend this year, and i was marking bait about 25 ft down, and arches about 28-30 ft down. casting shallow yielded a few smallmouths.
when does this lake turn over? should i concentrate on finding bait pods and trolling thru them, or casting typical fall areas (any spots or suggestions would help, we do have a map).
what has worked for you guys in the past on this body of water. i truly think this place has potential to produce a giant due to the depths and cover that is offered, and all that bait we seen there back in may just makes me all giddy!
the problem i had was 50 degree water temps and not having the equipment to get down 30' or so.
