I snapped my St. Croix Avid in half on a big fish last weekend and I have other rods with broken guides or just rods that are getting old so it's time to get all new rods.. I was curious to see if any of you guys have treid Esox rods or Fig Rig rods and your thoughts on them, good or bad?
Thanks

Have never seen the Esox rods, a friend uses the Fig Rigs and likes them. I've been using All Stars for 6 or 7 years and for me, they work well enough that I have not thought about changing.

I have starting using fig rig rods and really like them as the tooth tamers are compariable to avid's.Never used esox rods but did talk to the owner and sounds as if there products are pretty good, only did find them pricier then others and living in Canada it even a little more.

Tons of bad comments about Fig Rig on MuskyHunter.Com, but I've
liked mine so far!

I've never used Esox rods, but I will say this about Fig Rig, I snapped my 8' Fig Rig last Monday on Vermilion and wenty back to the cabin, called Fig Rig, and they over nited a new one to the local Marina for me. Had it the next day , no questions asked!!
Can't beat that customer service !!!
