I used to frequent the pastikas site alot but it has turned into a soap box for certain "old timers" to push their agenda and bash the DNR.
It is too bad. I'm realy suprised the owners want to go in that direction. They wont see me in their store anymore.
I am glad this site has remained consistent.
I have noticed it doesn't get the traffic it used too a few years back but that is fine with me. Keep up the good work!

Pastikas is a great store and good people who run it. I have not frequented their message board but have heard plenty by some credible people and I am surprised they let some of that stuff on there.

I am kind of surprised also. I met them a couple of times when I was active in Muskies, Inc. They always impressed me as good folks. I have never read their board though.

Even though there has not been alot of traffic here, this is still the only board that I read every day (here and the Walleye Central site.)

You must not read a lot. Prior to this thread there had not been any posts for 4 days!

Actually, if you go to the bottom, right corner of this page, there is a link that allows you to choose from any of the other "central" sites. Muskie Central is in my bookmarks and from there, I go to Walleye Central.

So, even though this board has not been very active, there is still alot to read on this site.

Hi all,

Just went to that site and man I can't beleive the owners let that crap get put on their site. I can't beleive the total lack of self control on some of the people who post on there. I will never visit there again!! Its not like this site tons of information about fishing and products related to fishing. From time to time a debate crops up and it is discussed with class and decorum. I totally see your point.

I used to go there often too. I have taken it off my favorites list.
It is funny how some of the people wanted it to be a "registered really good guides don't frequent it anymore either. As a result the fishing information has all but vanished.

Hi,

I totally agree leave the political cry babies off and stick to the selling of lures and providing information. But like you were saying there is a simple solution just don't visit the site anymore. I'm in 100% agreement.

I don't think it is site bashing.
It is more of an observation and comment on the postings that are dominating the site.
There seems to be a few people pushing an agenda and it is taking away from the quality of the site over all.

I see you deleted my post. It seems that many musky discussion boards delete postings that do not agree with the mainstream. I still think that bashing another site on a board is pretty bush league. I really don't understand why the thread was permitted in the first place. Pastikas site serves a purpose, and I know they would never permit bashing this site.
