I picked up a few (5) sweet little Med/Hvy trigger sticks made by St. Croix that are 5 ft. long and have a nice fast tip. I am going to use them for vertical jigging. I was wondering if you folks could help me with the selection of reels for these little guys. Something small, don't need large capacity for line, need a great drag. I have some Shimano Bantam Crestfires, but need more suggestions, give me your opinions.

Check out the Shimano Curado 100. Great small size reel. I sure like mine.

If you plan to jig with 2 rods at the same time you might want to consider getting 1 of them in left hand retrieve. I use spinning reels but have found that if 1 is left and 1 right it's easier. Also when buying your levelwinds you might want a thumb bar. good luck.

I would also recommend the curado 100 and the daiwa td-s or td-x series. Good luck!
