Hey Casey. How is Walleye Insider mag these days? I had been a subscriber for years, even back when it was in a newspaper format. I really liked it, then let it run out one year and havent read one since. Is it still a quality publication? Been meaning to pick one up but never seem to get around to it.

Casey,
Got mine today highlight of the new year so far.

I quit the mag seen the same format too many times, and if you are a lake erie fisherman they do not have enough articles for this type of fishing. Its different just ask the pros that fished in the pwt in dunkirk new york this past season.

Pete Harsh on the cover looks like a real fisherman, captured in his glory--winter Pete at his best. Lots of good stories, and for $10 a year, the tips and secrets of the pros make all the difference, as do the results of the PWT ttournaments. Get it; read it.

You might want to check out Great Lakes Angler. I get both mags and like them. GLA is a revival of the old Great Lakes Fisherman but much more up to date and more multi-species. You can check out their web site at www.GLAngler.com.

Casey,
I haven't gotten mine yet either. My last issue (oct, nov, dec) was over a month late. I finally sent them an e-mail, go to their site. They fed-x ed it to me a couple days later. I think it's a great mag and great value. Wouldn't think of letting my subscription run out.

I still enjoy the magazine as well. NO I have not received my copy for January either. They must not have a lot of stuff to print this time of year so they are running a little behind.
I get 2 magazines and they are "Walleye In-Sider" and "Bass and Walleye Boats". I wouldnt do without either one of them. I would like to see a more critical reporting of products than B&WB does and I get a little tired of "How to make your 225 hp go faster" reports, but they do have good electronics overviews and discuss kickers and trolling motors.
Get the two above and you will feel like christmas each month!
I haven't received my January edition either. Great magazine though! Been a subscriber for years.

The Walleye In-Sider is a great publication as are all the In-Fisherman guides and magazines. I read them all eventually. Well maybe not the bass one?
The guys that have let your subscriptions slide have to admit that given a chance to pick a copy up of a coffee table you can't resist doing so, right? Like dancing a bait in front of a fish if you ask me.
:D
The In-Sider editions often lean to the more tournament oriented angler, but in my opinion but that is were most of the new gadgets and methods often come to light, so I pay attention, never know I may just learn something Eh.
You still can not find a better educational forum for fisherman then the In-Fisherman line of publications.

If you guys want to try it sometime, every Christmas season they offer a two-for-one deal...a gift subscription and renewal for the price of $10. Post something next November. I wouldn't mind putting someone's name down to receive the free one for a year, and I am sure others wouldn't mind either. I have given it to the same guy for three years; he can start springing for it himself.
I think the magazine is a terrific resource as are all of In-Fisherman's products.

Mine showed up today way out here in ND, so it's sounds like everybody should be getting theirs this week. It was a much easier read than the income tax forms that were delivered on Wednesday. LOL.
Take care and good fishing,
Bob M
