A 21" LazerII will fit the bill...

how about a #### the real answer is going to be to take the boat out with the recommended prop then run it and watch your rpms the dealer should tell you what the motor will turn lets say 5600 rpms and your only turning 5100 then you have to change the prop to a smaller pitch to get the rpms up the dealer should xchange the prop because you are trying to fget the optimum power out of your motor for what you buy we do it at our dealership as long as the prop is not dinged and the paint is still new

The Lazer II is not a bad prop and is a good suggestion. I would also try a 21P Tempest because it will have better lift and because it has a larger diameter you can raise your motor higher on the transom. The 1800 is a little heavy in the front end and the Lazer might not give you as much lift as the Tempest. The best thing to do is demo one and see which one works for the way you are set up.n Some dealers have demo programs and you will see these blue props hanging on there wall.

I agree with PJM. Go with the Tempest. It is a newer designed prop. The Laser II has been around for some time now and is showing it's age.

I currently have a 21" Lazer on a 225 opti powered 2025 pro v. I don't feel like its the best choice, loses "grip" when trimmed 3/4 to all the way up and not enough bow lift.

Dealer has suggested trying the new 4 blade Revolution. I don't know if that prop applies to your set up.

Maybe "T-Mac" will jump in here.

I ran the 150 XR6 on a Alumacraft 185. The best overall prop I found was a Merc 19 pitch Hi-5. Not the fastest prop, but overall best performing prop. Great hole shot. Held tight in sharp turns, Pulled the bow up when needed. Got the rpm's up in the 5600 range.

As stated, try a few of the test Blue props your dealer should have. I trieds 8-9 different props before buying.

I have 150efi on Alumacraft TP175, with 21" hi five. It works great, but I think I may test a 21" tempest this summer. The hi-five handles great and hole shot is out of this world, but reverse power suffers and I'd like to try a bit more speed - just to see if it will go much faster. From what I hear, the tempest is a great solution.

With that said, it will take a lot for me to give up the hi-five, as if works great with very heavy loads and has tons (TONS) of bow lift, even with people sitting up front on the deck. We get 46-48 gps mph with full load, at about 5200-5300 rpm. Slightly better with less weight, but not much less with more weight, which is one reason I like it a lot.

I tried an older Laser II and it was just horrible on our boat. Top end was ok, but hole shot and midrange was not good at all. That was before they put the plugged holes in, I think. Also tried older model Trophy and it was ok, but shook at troll speed.

Good luck!
