The next item on the block is a MinnKota Maximizer unit. It is hooked up between your trolling motor and battery. It "maximizes" your battery life, meaning it makes the battery last I think 50% longer (I dont remember the actual claim by MinnKota). It has a LED battery gauge, and a variable remote speed control. Used very little. I
think I paid $100 for it ten years ago. I have a digital camera, so sending pics of the unit is not a problem.
