The new season for fishing t.v. shows starts this weekend, January 5 and 6. Fishing the Midwest will air mostly on network stations throughout the Midwest. Check our fishingthemidwest.com main page for complete listing of times and stations. Go to the menu on the left side of the page and click on t.v. listings.
Fishing the Midwest will be airing on a new station in the Twin Cities. We will be back-to-back with Tony Dean Outdoors on KSTC-TV, which is listed as Channel 45 but is a different channel number on the cable networks. Fishing the Midwest will air at 11:00 a.m. on Sundays on KSTC starting January 6.
Fishing the Midwest will also air on Fox Sports Net North(formerly Midwest Sports Channel) at 11:30 a.m. Saturdays starting January 5. Our show this week will be our Preview Show, which includes clips from shows that will be airing this year.
Fishing the Midwest episodes are taped in Minnesota, Wisconsin, South Dakota, North Dakota, and Iowa. We highlight areas and techniques with a mix of information and entertainment.
Several Walleye Central regulars, including Julia Davis(Juls) and Bruce DeShano(Chairman) will be guests on Fishing the Midwest this year.
I always(usually) appreciate your comments on what you like and dislike about Fishing the Midwest. Post here or on the Fishing the Midwest Message Board. We want to know what you want to see on a fishing show.
See you this weekend.
