I will be getting my used 15 horse merc kicker soon. I'm thinking about converting it to remote throttle, which means I'd have to take the tiller arm and shift lever off, and mount a control box by my drivers seat. Does anyone have a fairly new (1990s) merc/quicksilver throttle/shift control box they would like to sell? It doesn't need the electric start key or tilt/trim switch, but if it has it, it's no big deal. I believe the basic model is called the Commander 2000. Anyone selling one of these? How much?
