Ok, this is the scoop. I need your help.I'm going to Erie this spring and I think we are fishing around the islands.Which MMC Navionics maps should I buy for my LCX-15MT Lowrance?
I know theres 2 of them but I dont want to buy something that I'm not going to use.
Thanks for your knowledge.

Bob, I recently had a long chat with Jules at Bethel Marine (toll free 18662384351) on this subject. There is good news. You used to have to buy the Erie Navionics maps in two cartidges, East and West, and they ran about $300 apiece. The E-W cutoff line for the two cartidges was around Huron, meaning most guys would want to have both. Thanks to increased competition by Garmin, C-Map and Navionics are starting to lower prices and move into larger size cartridges. I'm told there is going to be ONE cartridge available in a few weeks which will cover the entire lake for about $200. So it may pay to wait a while and see. Oddly the US Navionics web site has been down all week. http://www.navionics.com/ The owner of Fishing Hot Spots, which seems to have some direct business relationship with Navionics, often posts here at WC, maybe he will read this and comment.
Hey JBL
Thanks for information on Navonics Maps for Lake Erie. I thought I was the only one on this message board that had Lowrance LCX 15MT and will be fishing on Erie. Thank Jules for me also. You were the only one that gave me useful and cost effective info. Thanks again--BOB

Hey JBL,
Did those maps come on a MMC cartridge? Thanks.
