MIKE

Great topic for debate on the future of walleye fishing. I hope that we can educate the young kids and teach them the way of the walleye and fishing in general before we end up with a huge generation gap in the sport.
It's an occurance that we've seen in registered trapshooting over the past ten years or so and it's hard to recover once we lose a generation or two from a sport.

Education / promotion.......Managing the popluations (correctly) and enforcement of the fish and game laws are what would be my top three areas that need to be addressed.

Great goal last night against the lightning !
I jammed the hook of a jigging Rapala in my thumb while watching the replay on ESPN (shouldn't sharpen hooks and watch Blackhawks Hockey at the same time) but the pain was worth the gain !

GO BLACKHAWKS !!

Been a Blackhawks fan since birth (Lou Angotti was my mothers cousin if you go back that far) and i always loved to hate the Red Wings but now that they got my buddy Cheli, I can't hate them anymore.....until playoff time !
The Blackhawks are undefeated in "Hockey Town" in their last 9 games.
6-0-3 I believe !

Would you like to make a friendly wager should our teams meet in April ?
Say, maybe a walleye trip ??
I live on Oneida lake in Central New York and it's one of the best walleye lakes east of the Mississippi !

If Peluso and the Hawks keep playing like they've been so far this season, I'd be willing to drop that jiggin Rapala down my shorts for a shot at the "Stanley Cup" !!

Thats a scary thought.
