Looking for some feedback from anyone who has been to this lodge before. It is located on Birch Lake. Any info would be appreciated. Thanks.

I have a summer home up there, and it is a good resort. But for the money you can find a little better fishing for the money. I often take my boat elswere or head into the boundery waters. Birch lake has some good eyes' but it can be a tough lake to fish until you learn it. Pike fishing is fair. If your going in the early spring though, your right next to prime fishing!
Good luck.

I've heard that particular resort is very "rustic". There are other resorts on that lake that have better accomodations for the same price. A group of us went up there last June. We caught about 100 walleyes in 4 days. Only about 20 were in the 13"-20" range. Got home, looked up some netting data on the lake and realized that we should have checked the data first. We got tired of catching 6" walleyes so we went home a day early. Wasn't like we are rookies, 5 of the 6 guys fishing have caught walleyes of approx 10 lb or bigger..

No, you guys aint rookies, just how the lake is. It does have a "short" hot time, but like posted earlier, there are better lakes in the area.
(PS) I think all the resorts on this lake are "Rustic" but I must admit I havent checked them all out.
Timber Bay Lodge on Birch Lake is very nice. The other mentioned? Their "sell" is very exaggerated!
