i would like to try devils lake for pearch this winter, i have heard some good reports about some guys called the pearch patrol that provide a guide service. does anyone have a phone number for these guys? also could use some info on motels. thanks homebrew

Try www.fishingbuddy.com. That was a good place to find out what is going on at Devils Lake. It is a great place to fish and lots of nice guides.

The Comfort Inn is the newest and most modern of all the motels in Devils Lake. You can get a lot of inormation about Devils Lake and the perch aptrol and other guides at www.devilslake.com In addition the perch patrol works alot out of Woodland Resort where you can rent a cabin as well.
