If you ever lose the cap for you ice auger gas tank, at least for a jiffy, I found an easy temporary fix. I recently lost my gas cap while fishing Lake of the Woods. I was shocked by the price for a new one…….$15!!!!!!!! Trouble was no local stores had any on hand. It is a pretty unique size and I had a hard time finding a temp replacement until I could buy one. What I found works pretty well was a cap from a 1 gallon milk jug. It fits real well but will drip a little when the tank is full. Does anyone have any other suggestions?? Thanks
