Snow is predicted here and I was wondering if anyone has used the new fluids that is supposed to be sprayed on your walkways before snow or ice,...how they work,..and what is thought about the product,..the claim is that some cities are using them,..anyone read how safe they are for waterways/wildlife?

I saw it used in a Christmas cartoon once...I believe it was Frosty the Snowman. Worked pretty good as far as I can remember, almost ruined all of Christmas.

(Sorry, couldnt resist!)

It is made from corn sugars, the corn processing plant in Marshall, MN makes it to start and then it goes off to another plant.
I have used it a little it seems to work pretty good, safer on grass, and sidewalks.
Should not harm wildlife.

They tested it here in UT and it didn't work worth a crap. Put that money towards a plow on your 4-wheeler!
