I am planning to sell my 2000 15 hp. Johnson Short shaft, rope start, locally here in Iowa. Have two 3gal. aftermarket fuel tanks, two hoses, an outboard motor cart and a Minn Kota 12 volt Kicker Lift from the Cabela's Bargain Cave. Booked it on NADA at $1355 for the 1999 model that comes close (motor only). I paid $1800 for it new in August of 2000 and it has less than two hours of run time on it. Been stored in my heated basement on the cart since buying it. I was going to ask $1410 for everything. Do you think that I should ask more or less based on the two model years have gone by, even though it's mint condition? I don't really want to take such a big loss on it but I don't know that I'll have a choice. What do you think? Are there factors that affect the value that I haven't thought of. What do you folks think? Thanks. Blaze.

Too bad you have to sell it. About all I can tell you is that I found those NADA prices to be low, in my opinion. Have you checked elsewhere online? You could always try selling it on ebay, too. MAybe T-Mac or some other people who work in the industry will read this and tell you what its worth.

Taking it back to the top. Hoping for more responses than only one. Blaze.
