I've got a very slightly used Bracket Pro for sale.

It does not work with the tilt and trim on my Merc kicker. Tried and tried with Robert and two boat techs in town with no success on getting it to work. Robert was great at trying to get the unit to work on my boat over the phone, but in the end it just didn't work with my setup. I'll get the four holes in my transom patched up and get a Panther when the budget allows.

These might be great units for people that manually raise and lower their kicker, you are already at the back of the boat and do not need to drill any extra holes in your transom. The tether that helps raise and lower the bracket arm needs to be adjusted every time you raise or lower the motor, so unless you install a trim/tilt button at the back of the boat and are willing to reach over and adjust the tether every time (or almost every time), this may not be the unit for you. The new design that wraps the tether around the steering column on the kicker seems to need some improvement for the tether to be fixed once in position so it does not slide.

Also, if you do have power trim and tilt, you will need an extension arm made that is long enough. If the unit is mounted close enough for the arm to reach the kicker it will pinch your hydraulic lines, if it is far enough away from the trim/tilt hydraulics, it is too short.

All in all a very solid unit if you can get it to work.
