Howdy Jerry,
I may have the answer for you. I have the Big Jon Captains pack electric downriggers. I love them. We also used Big Jon on our salmon boat for many years. In my opinion you cant go wrong. Actually, I have a pair of elec Big Johns almost stinkin' new. With many extras. E mail me at Adman@walleyecentral.com
I dont want to turn this board into a trade mart.
Have fun.........R

I have been happy as a clam with my Cannon Marlin electric downriggers since I purchased them 9 years ago. The only problem I have had is the original wiring plugs broke off a post inside the plug. I have since replaced the both plugs to match up to female recepticles mounted flush in my boat's siewalls. It is really great to get a hit, push a button, fight the fish, and know that your downrigger is already up to ,not only be out of your way, but ready to reattach your line when you are ready to redeploy your lure for another shot at the fish.
