What is all this warm weather going to do the little bit of ice we have on lakes at this time? I like to fish for these walleye during the winter and the weather is nice, but makes me a little uneasy about venturing out after a couple days of 45-50 degree weather. I hope the guys that put out their permanent houses are not going to have any trouble!

There is a lot of water on the ice on many lakes.
This will no doubt be detrimental to the ice so CAUTION is the word. Access point were anglers have driven on in the past may erode further due to salt deposited from vehicles.
Shore line areas are certain to weaken as are areas seeing any run off enter a system.
Be very careful out there folks!
